This 934 sq. ft. apartment in Chennai is naturally well-ventilated and well-lit, with expansive views of
surrounding agricultural greenery. Inspired by the clients' deep appreciation for nature, the design seeks
to create a seamless connection between the indoors and the outdoors.
The home is designed in a contemporary style with subtle bohemian influences, creating a space that feels
both refined and relaxed. The living, dining, and kitchen areas follow a warm palette of beige and brown,
complemented by sage green accents that echo the greenery visible from the apartment.
In the living area, a minimal TV unit with floating shelves and a curtain-concealed corridor wall are
visually unified by a painted circular feature that acts as a focal point. Circular elements are repeated
throughout the space, from the coffee table and dining table to the painted feature wall, softening the
geometry of the layout and introducing a sense of visual rhythm. A comfortable couch paired with an accent
chair sits atop a bohemian rug, adding texture and warmth to the space.
Indoor plants are thoughtfully placed throughout the living area, bringing freshness and reinforcing the
home's connection to nature. The clients' love for greenery is further reflected in the nature-inspired
artwork behind the couch, while wooden textures used across the living and dining areas create a warm and
inviting atmosphere.
The kitchen is designed to be minimal, functional, and tailored to the clients' daily needs, ensuring both
practicality and visual continuity with the rest of the home.
The bedrooms follow a calming palette of white and grey with blue accents, creating a serene and restful
environment. Each bedroom features wallpaper accents in varying tones that serve as focal points while
maintaining design harmony. Custom fitted wardrobes, designed according to the clients' requirements,
provide efficient storage while maintaining the clean aesthetic of the rooms.
Overall, the bedrooms are designed to evoke a calm, relaxed, and comfortable atmosphere, complementing the
natural and soothing character of the home.
